When meeting someone under formal situation such as in a business meeting or meeting an important person for the first time, you might use some of these more formal greetings (untuk acara resmi seperti rapat atau bertemu dengan orang-orang penting).

Note :

  1. Good morning: since get up in the morning until have lunch (00.00 – 12.00 or 00.00 a.m – 12.00 p.m)
  2. Good afternoon: since 12.00 – 18.00 or 12.00 p.m – 06.00 pm
  3. Good Evening: since 18.00 – 24.00 or 06.00 p.m – 00.00 a.m
  4. Good night is used before sleeping.
  5. P.m. (post merediem) = 12.00 – 24.00 or 12.00 p.m – 00.00 a.m
  6. A.m (Ante merediem) = 24.00 – 2.00 or 00.00 a.m – 12.00 p.m
  7. Di Indonesia menggunakan jam sistem 24 jam sedangkan di Inggris/Amerika menggunakan sistem 12 jam dengan menggunakan a.m dan p.m untuk membedakan malam dan siang.
